Since the early 80’s, Santa Fe Artist Buffalo has been pounding out old school ingot jewels like no other. Each piece is truly one of a kind with subtle variances in stamping, shape and texture, allowing the wearer to literally feel the passion that went into creating it.
The Monsoon: The width begins at 3/4 inch with the rounded tips and graduates up to 1-3/8 inches wide in the middle. The inside measures 5-7/8 inches + a 1 inch gap for a total inner circumference of 6-7/8 inches. It is seen in the photos fitting a 6-1/4 inch wrist fall off loose but could easily stay put stacked with other cuffs. The inside bears Buffalo’s head dress makers mark. He does not use a sterling mark. In fact - if you ever see a Buffalo cuff stamped sterling or .925, it was likely not made by him.
Reminder: This is a unique piece of jewelry that was forged to be rustic - please study the photos as they are part of the description and ask all questions before purchasing as our old pawn, vintage and custom jewelry sales are final.
This listing is for one cuff - the piece you see in the photos will be the piece you receive.

Will it fit? The best way to determine your ideal cuff size is to measure the inside circumference of a favorite cuff you already wear comfortably. The total measurement is tip to tip (inside) + the open gap. This can be accomplished with a soft measuring tape or a length of string that can be subsequently stretched along a ruler for measurement. You can use the same methods around your wrist to determine total size if you don’t have a cuff to use. If you stack bracelets, you may want to go a little larger for wiggle room, but if you only wear one bracelet at a time, a snugger fit is usually okay. If the cuff is very wide, you will generally need a larger size than usual. It comes down to your personal preference and comfort, but the more you collect, the more familiar you become with what works for you.
Actual colors may vary slightly due to lighting, screen display and/or the way color is seen by an individual.
Handcrafted/Handmade work is unique in its design, which means that imperfections will most often be part of an item’s character. Inconsistencies will occur by nature, which makes each piece truly one of a kind; an artist is not a machine.
This listing is for the item named in the title only. Additional photo props or styling pieces are not included. ALL OLD PAWN AND VINTAGE PIECES ARE SOLD AS IS, we will not repair or accept returns on these pieces.
Thank you for looking! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Love the barrel beads, fast shipping, happy to be able to get a handmade item to work with
I was really disappointed in the color of the turquoise. Very light blue color, not turquoise color. Almost has the color of light lapis. I was gonna return it, but i read you couldn't. I realize there are different colors of turquoise, but this was more light blue looking and not turquoise.
Store owner replied:
We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed.
The light, pale blue color you’re describing is actually characteristic of Golden Hills Turquoise. Golden Hills is known for its soft sky-blue to icy pale blue tones, often with lavender or golden matrix. That distinct pastel blue is exactly what makes this material so sought-after and collectible.
If you were looking for a deeper, brighter “classic turquoise” blue, something from the Kingman family of turquoise would likely have been a better fit, as Kingman typically produces the stronger, more saturated blue tones many people associate with traditional turquoise.
We truly wish you had reached out to us before leaving feedback. We’re always happy to explain stone varieties, color ranges, and help guide customers toward the exact look they’re wanting. Turquoise varies greatly by mine and region, and we love educating our customers on those differences.
Wishing you a great day.
I ordered 3 of these. 2 for myself and 1 as a gift for my granddaughter. Mine look great with my other Navajo Pearls and she loved her set. Very satisfied with my purchases and service was super fast.
I needed a chain extender for a necklace I have that was too short. This well made & beautiful chain extender solved my problem well. I'm glad I found this company!
I only just found out about Nizhoni in June and I’m so addicted and have so many beautiful unique pieces. This was one of my favorites I picked up during a $99 sale
Love the Rose Martin beads! Love the colors! I mix and match different sets with my pendants. This set is nice and chunky with beautiful greenish blue stones.
Love, love, love the Rose Martin beads! Love the pop of color with the orange spiny! These beads go great paired with my opal pendant. The photo does show it well, but the opal has beautiful blues and oranges running through it!
I bought the Rose Martin necklace with freshwater pearls to layer with a strand of freshwater pearls that I already owned. The two blend nicely together and the quality of the Rose Martin is outstanding. I will be buying more!
The beads are beautiful and work very well in the design I am assembling. I have tried several times to attach a photograph and send you this, but it never seems to go through.
I’ve been a collector of Native American jewelry for 45 yrs. It’s all I wear, even to my wedding ring. I love the artistry & the meaning behind it. Glad I found another good source of good quality & authentic Navajo & Zuni jewelry. Love these earrings & think they go very well with some of my other pieces.
I was afraid I had ordered a baby cuff, but nowhere on the description does it state baby cuff. The larger cuff I got in Santa Fe. That is how small it is. I am afraid to wear for fear of losing it.
Store owner replied:
Hello, we do have the exact measurements of the cuff on the description of our listing on our website so all customers know exactly the size that they’re ordering when they order did you happen to check that and measure your wrist to make sure it was something that would fit you?
Beautiful necklace I try to wear all the time. Love Native American pieces. Only thing I wish it came with its story behind it , who made it and so on, Also would like to have a packing slip with it. I will order again. One thing else, no instructions if you would like to return or exchange an item. Yes you need to go back on your site to figure it out. Other than that love what I have ordered.
Thank You
