This pendant made by Apache silversmith, Rosella Paxson, features bright orange spiny oyster shell, Rosella’s signature wire work and a variety of sterling shot all arranged carefully into a beautiful butterfly. It is is topped off with an 18mm hand stamped bail and the overall measurement is 3-3/8 inches tall by 3-5/8 inches wide. NATIVE MADE

Rosella S. Paxson is originally from Whiteriver, AZ but currently resides in Albuquerque, NM. She is a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe on the Ft Apache Reservation. When we asked her about her craft recently, she was very humble, but she said “I have been silversmithing for over 20 years, and enjoy every minute of it... making a piece of jewelry and putting your thoughts of design into the piece you’re making whether it's earrings, rings, bracelets or pendants….it's unique...I am thankful and blessed to have become a silversmith.”
