This stunning cross pendant, made by New Mexico silversmith Rosella Paxson, features vibrant spiny oyster shell and royal blue lapis lazuli, each framed by Rosella’s signature wire work and rosette accents. Its width is 2-3/4 inches and it is topped off with a 16mm bail, making the height 4-1/2 inches. Stamped sterling and RP for Rosella Paxson. Rosella S. Paxson is originally from Whiteriver, AZ but currently resides in Albuquerque, NM. She is a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe on the Ft Apache Reservation. When we asked her about her craft recently, she was very humble, but she said “I have been silversmithing for over 20 years, and enjoy every minute of it... making a piece of jewelry and putting your thoughts of design into the piece you’re making whether it's earrings, rings, bracelets or pendants….it's unique...I am thankful and blessed to have become a silversmith.”
